A Project of Self-Discovery
Between January and May 2010 I turned the camera on myself to learn more about who I was at 21. Throughout the project I deepened my self-understanding, found an increased sense of self-awareness regarding my thoughts and actions, became more self-confident and truly felt in-touch and true to who I was at that time.
These images were originally shot with my dad’s Minolta Maxxum 7000 and hand-printed in a traditional black and white darkroom on archival quality fiber-based paper. The full series contains 18 prints, each 16″x18″ large.
These images have been photographed and digitally edited for viewing on screen.
